Tap “HD” icon at the upper shortcut menu to enable Super-resolution function. When Super-resolution is on, quality of thermal image is sharper and richer.

UTi740M supports Industrial mode and EST Screening mode, which can be switched in Settings menu. Accuracy varies from different measurement modes.

● Industrial mode: ±2℃ or ±2% whichever is greater

● EST Screening mode: ±0.5℃

UTi740M features a focusing ring. It needs to manually adjust the focusing ring until the imaging is clear while measuring the objects at various distance.

Please eliminate the situations as below when there is no response when connecting to analysis APP:
● APP Download Source. Make sure the APP downloaded from the formal channels. It is recommended to download the APP from overseas official website or Google Play Store.
● Connection Method. If you connect the device via an extension cable, please ensures the extension cable with data transmission function. If you connect the device directly, and your phone wears a protection case, please take it off and check it again. As it may cause poor connection.
● OTG function. Analysis APP cannot recognize & read the connected device if OTG function is off. Please check whether it is enabled on your phone.

To better manage data, Thermal Mobile APP requires Albums permissions for saving and browsing the captured photos & videos in the device album local. Please be assured that UNI-T won’t steal your personal data for any illegal purpose.

UNI-T engineers will issue the up to date version to the authorized store such as Apple App Store and Google Play Store for approvement. When the latest version is available, users can update the app from the APP store.

Industrial mode usually used in Electric System inspection, building diagnosis, mechanical equipment maintenance, etc. scenarios. Its measurement accuracy takes the maximum value of ±2℃ or ±2%.
EST screening mode usually used for human being temperature screening. Its measurement accuracy takes the maximum value of ±0.5℃ or ±0.5%.

The operating system of UTi740MS works well in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Polish, and Czech, which can be switched in Settings>Language.

There is a physical distance of the imaging due to the limit of space between visible lens and infrared lens. However, we can following the steps below to register the imaging manually.
1) Access PIP mode, zoom in/out the visible image by sliding outward/inward via two fingers on the screen to make sure the size of visible image and infrared image are the same;
2) Tap  icon to move visible image to register infrared image.
Note: You can also tap  icon to display the edge details captured by visible lens on infrared image.
